Giramondo accepts unsolicited submissions of literary fiction, literary non-fiction and poetry. Before submitting a manuscript, we expect intending authors to have acquainted themselves with our existing titles and issues of HEAT, so that they know what kinds of writing we publish.

Fiction and non-fiction submissions should include a brief synopsis of the work, and the author’s CV, along with three sample chapters.

Poetry submissions should include a brief description of the work, and the author’s CV, along with the proposed manuscript.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept submissions by email. They should be sent as hard copy, with stamped self-addressed envelope (or return email address for international contributions), to Giramondo Publishing, at the following address:
